Restore a real company to a newly created test company?

 I just created a test company.  I simply want to take yesterday's backup from a real company and restore it into the new test company.  When I try to do this it says 'The backup file you selected refers to a database other than the one you are trying to restore'.  I want to test something with real company data, but am having trouble finding a way to do this.

    I've used the method described in Knowledgebase article ID: 871973 many times and it works well. There are two articles, one if your're using SQL Express and another if you're using SQL Server Standard or Enterprise

    After the forced restore, be sure to change the database owner to DYNSA. I'd also run check links on the database to be copied before copying it. There are some other possible gotchas that are not described in the article, but I have a full script that I follow that has worked in several different environments.
