Report Destination window automatically set to "Template" and not "Standard"

Hello all,

We have our custom dictionary in v2015. Whenever we try to print any report that belongs to this dictionary , when the Report destination window shows up, we notice that the Report Type drop down is automatically set to "Template" and not "Standard" . It used to always be autoset to "Standard" in previous versions of this dictionary (v2013 and earlier). Not sure why this is suddenly being set otherwise. We always use the regular Developer Update (using Visual Sourcesafe ) to upgrade all our products to higher version and have never seen this kind of a situation occur after an upgrade process.

Does anyone know what I need to do to autoset that option "Report Type" to "Standard" and not "Template"

Thanks for your reply. I turned the option off for the Desktop version of Dynamics v2015. This worked fine and all my reports show "Standard"as the default option. However, when I try to connect to the same database using the GP 2015 Web Client, the report Destination window still comes up with "Template" as the default option. I even checked the settings (Administration>>Reports>>Template Configuration) while in the web client and it already has it unchecked for these reports. Any suggestions how to make this work in the web client ?

    Hello,

Once a template is enabled for a company it is the default value for this dropdown. The only way to make 'Standard' the default is to turn the template option off via Administration >> Reports >> Template Configuration.

    Thank you,
    Ken Hubbard
