Purchase Order Link and Purchase Requisition is Broken when PO line item is removed

Hi all,

I have  a case where the link between Purchase Order and Purchase Requisition is broken/lost when I remove the PO line item. I check the link from Purchase Order Line details>General>Purchase Requisition.

I guess this case is normal, however when I checked with the related PR, the status is "closed: and the referenced PO number is still there. It makes the PR cannot be released into PO anymore and my previous PO will be created without reference to PR.

Is it kind of bugs in AX 2012 R3?

How do I link my PR into the PO again?

    Hi,

    Its not a bug.

    System will automatically remove PR and PO link.

    PR status will be changed into Approved, We could create new PO from PR.

    In my case the PR status is not changed into approved.

    As I mentioned above, the status is still remain as "Closed".

    What AX version do you use?

    I am afraid that it is only occured in the AX 2012 R3 CU 11.

    I am using Dynamics 365 and Ax2012 R3 CU 9.

    Are you getting pop-up like PR will be reopened like that while delete the PO line ?.

    Make sure no customization.

    Is you PO confirmed?

    If PO confirmed, the link will not broken. It will not change the PR status into Approved.

    Status remain Closed only.

    PO status is approved. It has not been confirmed yet.

    Do you activate the change management in PO?

    Hi Hasan,

    If you click request change on PO, it will create PO version.

    So the link will not broken.

    The PO and PR link will broken , if there is no PO version.
