HI All,

Can you please let me know if I wants to redeploy all reports on UAT server then before deployment we need to take any backup?

Because I checked randomly reports on UAT server... Something good and something give error like

deperror.png

It's seems like deployment issue.

Could you please suggest me the best option to redeploy all reports on reporting server...

Please give me more shed on this.

Thanks!

    Hi Arpan,

This is the first time I do hear this question. The backup is in fact the source control system and/or the AOT in AX2012. If you deploy, it will replace existing ones with the correctly compiled SSRS report.

Usually deployment does not affect existing reports, however, if you have new reports you need to deploy them to SSRS service. You can use PowerShell as shown in documentation docs.microsoft.com/.../deploy-the-default-reports

I can do through power shell command to deploy all reports right? Shall I need to pass parametrs like AOS server, SSRS Server etc...

Please give me more shed on this.

    Thanks!

You can always provide the detail parameters.

Sometimes you don't have to - if the program is able to determine the settings by looking at you registry. If you run it without parameters you will see if it fails or not.

Also if you have multiple SSRS servers (and configurations) you need to run the command once for every config id.

As usual, you can simply try it and learn from your own experience.
