Hi Folks,

What is the alternative to window.showModalDialog? 

I understand that using Xrm.Internal.openDialog can be one method, but that seems to be not supported by SDK.

Please share your thoughts / solutions.

    No supported method for this, to open entity form or web resource you can use xrmutility but it does not provide method for modal dialog.

    Hi Ashwin,

    In that case create your own html page and show as dialog, there is no other OOB way to do that.

    Hi Ashwin,

    Yes  As Mohit said,  you have to create Html Web Resource to show Dialog. In that you can use Xrm.Internal.openDialog instead of window.showModalDialog .

    Try on this : inogic.com/.../alternative-to-showmodaldialog
