Custom domain for links

Good morning,
Does anyone know if one can add a custom domain for analytics tracking in Dynamics 365 Marketing? Many companies train their employees to mouse-over a link and check the URL before clicking on a link. In all our emails, the URL in the email links to something similar to https://ca31ceb4954a403093f187xxxxxx111111.svc.dynamics.com/t/t/9xgBThxar.... which of course is so that Marketing can track the click... but I would like to be able to use a /clicks.mydomain.com/ custom domain for this, so that customers can recognise that the link is leading to my website. This is possible with ClickDimentsion and most other marketing platforms.

Has anyone figured out how to do this?

Thank you

    Hi,

Our team has analyzed your needs and made the following attempts.
First, we tried to change the URL of the dynamics 365 environment, but changing the environment URL only changes the prefix, which is the "ca31ceb4954a403093f187xxxxxx" part of your link, and the domains after that are still hosted on Dynamics.

We then tried the redirect URLs in Dynamics 365 Marketing, however, the links generated by this feature were similar to the ones you described and did not meet your needs.
We noticed that the redirect URL was automatically generated when you clicked "Save" so we considered using Ribbon Work Bench to see how the button performed.
However, in our Ribbon Work Bench we didn't find a corresponding button, we found a suspicious one, but we tested it to rule out the possibility.

Finally, we tried again to modify the redirect link directly in Dataverse, but the modification could not be saved.

Therefore, our team believes that your request is not supported in the existing out-of-the-box functionality of Dynamics 365.

I hope my answer is helpful to you! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards,
    Rudy Zhang
