Hi i just added a string field in InventJournalTrans and InventTrans table and i need to propagate value from InventJournalTrans to InventTrans, so i have created a new method in Invent movement class and its working fine. InventJournalTrans value is getting inserted in InventTrans.

now when i change the value of my field in InventJournalTrans and on saving it its not getting updated in Invent Trans. if i'm changing the value for counted or qty then its getting updated in Invent Trans.

i need to update my field value too is there any solution for this?

Please be careful with adding fields to InventTrans. It is a high-volume, highly transacted table. Adding fields there can have a pretty negative performance impact.

    Consider:

Since InventTrans has a relation to the original journal, do you really need to copy the field over?

Could you put the value on InventTransOrigin instead?

Can you put it in a new table with a 1:1 relation to inventtrans?
