Does Great Plains allow us to pull data from Great Plain tables while in Excel from the Data Menu.

Hello Stacey, generically the answer is yes - of course you need to know the details and knowing the relationships between the tables is very critical to your success.

if you haven't done so yet, I encourage you to deploy the built-in GP Excel reports that come out-of-the-box with every GP setup.. There are over 200 Excel reports for all modules in GP that are covering pretty much the same data content than the SmartList do within GP.
It's just much easier & 10 times faster to access that same data from Excel outside of GP and have the data refreshed in seconds.
