Is there an alternative to using the Outlook plugin in re: to Set Regarding, syncing tasks, appts, etc.?
It really is nothing but a nuisance with the amount of times it becomes disabled, prompting calls to the Help Desk to have it re-enabled or reconfigured.

[/quote]My understanding is that there are two pieces of software that cover more or less the same functions ie accessing and editing CRM activities (contacts, appointments, etc) directly from Outlook: (i) the CRM plugin (ii) the more recent CRM Outlook App. We (1000 users) curretly use the plugin and it is a nightmare (real instability of Outlook clients, plugin disabled and requiring reconfiguring or reinstalling, etc.). We just discovered the existence of the Outlook app that is supposed to be much more stable and more convenient to use. But it required Exchange 2016 that we haven't yet implemented (dec 16 - jan 17). I should be able to test it in a few weeks and hope it will be as promissing as it sounds.
That I don't know. I was referring to the legacy client. I should've also mentioned that we are on-prem.
Are you talking about both Outlook Clients? The Default Outlook Addin Client and the newer Outlook App? Isnt the new Outlook App supposed to be more stable?
