Hello,

How to configure the item model group for the service-based products

1) Stocked product 2) Inventory model 3) Inventory policies -Negative inventory 

4)Post physical inventory 5)Post financial inventory

Whether the above boxes need to clear or needs to check, please

For example housing organisation(XYZ) managing AX ERP.

They will provide services to flats with help vendors(companies) 

Services mean: Telecom services, Water Services, Gas safety checks, Electricity Services & safety inspections (example)

    Hi Priya,

    For service items, you can setup the item model group with the next settings:

    1) Stocked product NOT enabled

    It will then default the next values and disable the fields for editing:

    2) Inventory model "FIFO"

    3) Physical negative disabled (as there is no inventory) Financial negative enabled

    4) Post physical inventory disabled (as there is no inventory; only expense)

    5) Post financial inventory disabled (as there is no inventory; only expense)

    Instead of service products, you can also consider the use of procurement categories only. A pro for products would be allowing setting up default prices with trade agreements.

    If you have a system setup with demo data, please check the Item model group "Services" in USSI legal entity. You can follow the same setup -
