Web Client and Modifier

Hi,

I made some changes to some text fields with Modifier, but I do not see them on the web client. All the changes went into the FORMS.dic file, which is a shared file, so all the servers see that file. The desktop clients are ok. Is there something special I have to do, so the web client will see the changes?

Hi Béat,

Thanks for the response.

The Session Host Server was pointing to the correct .DIC file. To get the web client to show the text, I had to save the form in Modifier, and then select the modified form from the Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports window. I didn't think I had to do that because I globally changed the strings.

Hi Helvi,

I've not done the GP Web client setup yet, but from what I've understand going thru the various blogs / forums / videos, is that you need to make sure your GP Session Host Server is pointing to the proper shared .DIC files if you have customization's... And you may have to restart the Web services to make it effective...
