Forecaster - Calculations

I have simple calculations for rollups built into a forecaster budget. But unless I have the option to calculate during input and include the calc in the report, the calculations do not appear. Has anyone seen where the calculations are not saved to the database?

    Hi Deb,

It would be strange to work for all budgets and forecasts except one. Is there something specific about this one?

If you needed faster assistance, you may want to get a support case created.

Thank you Keith. We have a simple calc task and it is not working. We have done the restate and it is not working. The calculations seem to be working for all budgets/forecasts except for one.

    Hi Deb,

You would either need to save the departments/cost centers individually or have a Calc task to write the data to the database.

If you have multiple departments (I'd say 3 or more), you probably want to have a calc task created.

Also, be sure you run the restate (Data > Restate). The Restate process re-summarizes all accounts in your Rollup hierarchy to reflect your reorganizations.

I have run the restate and it did not update the results of the calculation.

    Hi Deb,

The restate command is what writes the rollup values to the database. You would need to run this from the Data menu, click Restate.
