ARDoc Rlsed column

Hi,

What process updates ARDoc.Rlsed to 1?

We have a number of invoices, entered via Invoice Entry Screen (40.110.00) that have been processed, but ARDoc.Rlsed remains 0.

This also prevents the document from appearing in the Customer Activity Screen (08.260.04).

There are no batches in the "Release AR Batches" screen (08.400.00).

Thanks in advance.

The OM Sales Journal process creates the AR Batch, Docs and Trans, and should be auto-released into AR (if OM setup has the Auto Release configured).  At times, the Sales Journal process will be interrupted or aborted, and the AR Batch will be flagged as Void.

I suspect if you look at the Batch table and locate the AR Batch in question, you will see Batch.Status = "V".  If that is the case, update the Batch.Status field to "B", then you will see the batch in the Release AR Batches screen, then can release it from there, which will update the ARDoc.Rlsed value to 1.

    Hi E4SL

Please check handling option when processing batch, it should be "release now" then Solomon will update batch  to "U" status and ARDoc.Rlsed will be set to 1. The batch just show in "Release AR Batches" when it has "B" status (select "release later" in handling option), so if you select handling option are "No action" or "Hold" it won't show in that screen.

Thanks Mark, it worked. Batch.Status was "V". Is it sufficient to only update Batch.Status? Also, is there a Solomon Screen that can change Batch.Status from "V" to "B" without using sql?

    Thanks again.

You only need to update the Batch.Status field to "B".  There is no screen to do this; needs to be done in SQL. The Release AR Batches process will take care of everything else.

As background, the Sales Journal process creates the Batch, and it starts as a "V" status.  I believe it is the SJ Post process that updates the Batch to "B" when finished.  If the process get interrupted or aborted, the status never gets changed to "B".  I see this happen frequently when the user running the SJ process cancels it before it is finished, or there is a printing error during the process.
