Hi,
We use the Microsoft Navision 2016 India version. This version was moved out from Mainstream Support Phase in April this year, which means now it is in extended support phase.
My question is that, will Microsoft provide the local application hotfixes if the India tax regulation changed in the extended support phase? If the answer is no, can I request for it via the Microsoft Unified Support?

Thank you, ZHU. Honestly, I cannot imagine that an ERP product can be used just for 5 years only in the country or area that the tax regulation change often. But anyway, now I know what Microsoft's policy, thank you.
Hi, I totally agree with Gearóid's statement that Microsoft is unlikely to develop new features for NAV2016. I think they will only make two suggestions, 1. Upgrade to the latest version of BC, 2. Partner develops itself.

Hi Rex,
As NAV 2016 is not longer under Mainstream Support it will not receive any new hotfixes except for the remote possibility that a Security Update may be issues during the Extended Support phase.
If you create a Unified Support ticket for NAV 2016 the Microsoft Support team will provide "best effort" support. However, it is very unlikely that any hotfix could be provided.
