Modified Reports in Report Writer

I have been asked to add the standard cost and some totals to the Kit Report.  To do this, I need to change the page orientation to Landscape and add columns.  I have done this and set GP to use the Modified Report in the Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports window for the DEFAULTUSER.  When I print the report, it continues to display the Original Report.  I am a power user and don't see anything in the security settings that should be an issue.  I have modified other reports and not had this problem.  I tried deleting the modified report and starting over, making one simple change like the orientation or a text field that says "test" and none of these display after I switch to the modified reports.  I'm stumped as to where to look next.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

A few questions that might help us to figure this out.

After you make the changes and return to GP, have you logged off of the application and refreshed the systems view of the modified reports and forms?

When you go to Administration >> User Security >> select your user ID >> you see the Defaultuser show up beside Alternate / Modified Forms and Reports ID.

When you click on that hyperlink and select Reports under Type can you find your modified report in the list?

Are you making the modifications to the Report from the same computer as you are trying to run the report from?

Just looking for different causes for you not to see the changes.

Thank you, Bill!  I found the problem when looking at my user ID.  Our IT support had done something that changed my Modified Reports ID to something other than DEFAULTUSER.  When I changed it back, it worked as expected.
