Hello,

Is there any way that I can setup GP to automatically save copies of the checks I print out in PDF format in a folder or drive?  I'm certain this can be done I just don't know how and I've tried doing google search but haven't found anything that can help me. Thanks in advance.

    are you printing to PDF?

    Charles,

You cannot do this with standard Microsoft Dynamics GP functionality. We have this feature in our Mekorma MICR product - You can find more information on MICR at www.mekorma.com

That is not what the OP asked. What the OP wants is to print the check, then generate a PDF file of the check that was just printed. You can certainly print all checks to PDF and then print the PDF file, but I don't believe that's what they are looking for.

Liaison Messenger EDD could be used to do this but in my experience it has been a finicky program to support (quite likely due to environmental factors).

In the end you would print to the Liaison driver, Liaison would automatically file a copy of the pdf based on a naming and location scheme defined by you, and then print the check to the appropriate printer.

    Regards,

    Kirk
