Hi,

I am a complete novice in Dynamics 365 and hit a bump in my project.

What I want to do is create a business rule that sets the older row inactive if a new one with the same attribute is created.

I can not use duplicate detection because these rows have different information in them which may be important later

Best Regards

Tobias

You cannot achieve this through Business Rules.

    Below are the other options.

    1) Power Automate Flow. (https://flow.microsoft.com/)

    2) Custom Actions OR Custom Workflows (docs.microsoft.com/.../sample-create-custom-workflow-activity
