How to change non inventory items to inventory

Hello,

Some items were built as non inventory items and were used on Item Ledger Entries. I get this error when i try to change it. You cannot change the Type field on Item BP-149D6A because at least one Item Ledger Entry exists for this item .

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Lanai,

Sadly, if the Item has an Item Ledger Entry posted, you cannot change the Inventory Type. You can rename the Item in question to something like BP-149D6A OLD. Create a new Item with BP-149D6A and Inventory Type = Inventory. Then you can use the original Item No. without having to create a new one.
