HR Employee 360 View recommendation

Dear Community,

my company is working on implementing a performance review process in D365 Human Resources.

However, mapping our current Excel-based template to the standard Performance review structure (with Goals and the Performance Journal) seems to be quite challenging and not very user-friendly.

There is also requirement to collect and summarize feedback from multiple employees, as our organization has a matrix structure and a project-based approach.

Annual professional goals, work objectives, and learning targets should be tracked and assessed.

A combined ranking, which is based on goal achievement, objective assessments, and employee feedback, should provide a comprehensive 360-degree view of current performance.

We are currently considering several options:

Customizing D365 to align with our existing template and process
Developing custom Power App that uses our current template and writes back summary and ranking data to D365
Integrating a third-party app to support a full 360-degree review

I would really appreciate getting your opinion and experience.
