This, from Microsoft documentation (docs.microsoft.com/.../hierarchy-security):
With the Manager hierarchy security model, a manager has access to the records owned by the user or by the team that a user is a member of, and to the records that are directly shared with the user or the team that a user is a member of.
Is there a way to work exceptions to this? Our company wants to allow users to be members of a team that their supervisor CANNOT see. (They want no one to see records owned by the team other than people assigned to the team). Doable??
Is it possible to set restrictions by setting Security Roles?
For example, security roles include "salesman" and "sales manager".
For the target record, do not give the sales manager the right, but give the salesman the right.
Does this meet your requirements?
Please refer to this for setting the Security Roles.
