Auto Record Creation Flows in UCI - Run frequency

Hi,

We transitioned from the legacy ARCs to the new UCI ones... Much needed flexibility with the Power Automate Flows... But, the run frequency is severely diminished. In the past the queue would pickup new emails inbound to the shared inbox to create / update Cases almost instantaneously. With the UCI + Power Automate, we have no idea what the run frequency is.

For example, it's been 22 minutes and the flow still didn't run. It last ran 21 minutes ago... (I'm refreshing the Run History view to track it)

Is there a setting somewhere that let's us adjust this run frequency?

Cheers

Jim

    Hi Jim,

There are two kind of flows in Dynamics Flows, one is which triggered on action like create or update entity record. The second option is we can schedule the flow to run after every minutes as it is explained below:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/run-scheduled-tasks

Please find more details about trigger.

    Hi Mobeen,

Sadly the environment is Dynamics 365. Those flows don't have those options.

Also, I didn't create the flow per se. The Automatic Record Creation and Update Rules flow did it for me.

But I appreciate the tip because I didn't know I could do that - that's very helpful for our regular flows. No more guesswork!

For illustration purposes, this is how that flow gets generated through ARC/UR

And here's the part where you can create Flows for Dynamics 365, and they have different options there

The biggest problem for us right now as users / consumers of Dynamics 365, everything is changing rapidly. The UI keeps changing, things that I had on my screen are gone and now labeled as "legacy things" and they can only be accessed via the legacy administration center. The documentation doesn't match what I see on my screens and the examples of how people did similar things are all outdated.

It's getting somewhat frustrating :-) But thanks to people like yourself, we are making headway and finding solutions.

So thank you very much for your time and attention

    Kindest regards
