i have question for the standard customer account statement external report. its already order by customer account no for each page. I already change the order by in the report data source ( cust table) to customer name but still the order by account number. Can anybody help me where to pun the sorting by customer name?

Actually you cannot do it through data source cause it is using tmp tables and build some datasource on the fly
but still you can edit it on the init method on the report you can add sorting field to the queryrun
