Hello Forum,

For a client I'm working for I'd like to know if this Zebra tablets (not AR Tablet) which run on Android 8.1 can run "Dynamics 365 Remote Assist":

  • ET51
  • XSLATE L10
  • XPAD L10
  • XBOOK L10

Anybody knows?

Thanks

    Hello Protim,

    thanks for you answer.

Looking at the link you shared, I have one additional question if you could answer

    In this page https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/mixed-reality/remote-assist/requirements

it is stated this that Dynamics 365 Remote Assist mobile is available on all devices including mobile devices without AR support.

Remote Assist on mobile devices Dynamics 365 Remote Assist mobile is available on all devices, including ARCore-enabled Android phones or tablets, ARKit-enabled iOS iPhones or iPads, and mobile devices without AR support.

Following another link in that page it is stated that for devices without ARCore oth the technicians and remote collaborators can provide instructions on snapshots using 2D annotations

"Due to limitations of mobile devices without ARCore or ARKit support, technicians and remote collaborators are unable to provide instructions using 3D annotations on a live video feed. Instead, technicians can now share their live video feed of their environment and both the technicians and remote collaborators can provide instructions on snapshots using 2D annotations"

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/mixed-reality/remote-assist/mobile-app/using-devices-without-ar

Given this, wouldn't be possible to run Dynamics 365 Remote Assist on Zebra ET51, XSLATE L10, XPAD L10, XBOOK L10 (with Android 8.1) with limitations, meaning YE instructions on snapshots using 2D annotations and NO instructions using 3D annotations?

    Could it be possible?

    Best regards

    Silvio
