Is it possible to limit a discount per transaction. I have a 10% discount button setup via a macro. If I press the 10% button twice by mistake it will add the discount in twice

if its a 10 % across all items , we use pos task pads and set up a button for a customer call 10% or 20 % etc . so in the sale just press the task pad button for the percent customer . If there are certain items you do not want to discount then on the item properties select the tick box item not discountable at the pos . this stops it being discounted . hope this helps
sorry to set the discount on the customer account select the price level - we use standard and then select 10.00 for the discount % field. Select primary cashier if you need to.
if you have vouchers items make sure you tick not discountable . works great . if only one discount level needed. very easy to track as you can go into the customers history to see all 10 % sales
Thanks for reply Willie, I already use that for other discounts. This is used for employee discounts where they get 2 50% discounts per year and the rest is 20% discounts. I can't select them as a customer if I use that method as the 10% is the customer and I can only set one discount per customer.
