Vendor Evaluation Reporting

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Environment:  AX 2012 R2 CU7.  SQL 2012.   I've set up the proper vendor evaluation criterion group and the evaluation criteria and all seems to be working.   I have two questions, hopefully simple ones.

1.  Is the only place that these vendor evals can be managed within the Setup of Procurement and Sourcing?  Wouldn't you think you can choose a vendor in ALL Vendors within that product category of course, and rate them there?

2.  Is there a rational report here?  I'm looking for a way to do a vendor scorecard based on a few things.  But it would seem that I cannot find any report to build off of or even run.

It appears to me the only place this can be seen is in the Setup of the criteria -- which if that is the case makes this very close to worthless.  Tell me I'm missing something -- please.

I realize it is an old question - but for completeness, I was looking into the issue and found this post vikasdarekar.wordpress.com/.../vendor-rating-and-evaluation-criteria-ax-2012

I have to admit I am dissapointed about this functionalitys integration to procurement categories

I'd like to find out the same, is the Vendor rating used for anything else other than Procurement Categories? Is the rating visible anywhere else other than Procurement Category form? I couldn't find any other forms containing the value of the rating.

Any real logical use for it?

    Hello,

I have experienced the same disappointment.

The recent score you give to a vendor is the final one. I did not experience any functionality, that is close to a ratio based calculation.

Not much related but, If you use non conformances, you might keep a relation like:

When you create a non conformation record for an item in a purchase order, this record is related to the PO, vendor and the item itself and you can reach that record from any of those main records. This gives you some ability to track what is going on for a product or vendor.

But still, this won't provide you a scoreboard neither.
