Quantity Shipped in Receivings Transaction Entry

When receiving POs, you can enter a quantity shipped that is greater than the quantity ordered.

Is there any setup or option that will disallow this?

I have a customer that does not want his users to enter a quantity shipped that is greater then the quantity order.

Thanks!

In GP 2013, there is a feature for that.   As far as currently, you would have to build something into the business process to look at the PO and then determine.  Not ideal, but all there is.   Not sure if VBA could be done to assist with that.

Take a look at this blog article from Frank Hamelly on the same subject: gp2themax.blogspot.com/.../po-receipt-tolerance.html
