Creating a graph to show user activity?

(0) ShareShare

Does anyone know how to run a report which will generate a graph showing user activity in the system?  I would like it to include creating Opportunities, Activities, etc.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

Victoria

Instead of using a report you could create a chart from a view.

Create a view for opportunities with filter created On = this year (if you want to see it for current year only) and add the columns Topic and owner.

When you are on this view, pull the charts menu from the right and add new chart.

In there select bar chart and give the settings as above. You can do the same for activities as well

    Hi Vweber,

You can create CRM Chart, but for many entities, you need to create separated charts for each entity.

You just want to get the total activity for each user, right?

You can just set the Owner as the Axis.

You can see the Activities by Owner Chart, as example:

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks.

Sorry if this is a beginners question but how do I create a chart from a view?

I have been on maternity leave and am getting back into the system.  I want to see a list of all of our regional mangers and their activity in crm for this past year.

    Hi Victoria,

For express Chart, you can just go to the View, and then in the right, you can find a Chart Pane, you will get the Chart Designer as I gave the screenshot before.

Or, you can go to Customization --> Entities --> then go to Chart.

You can create another views to filter the criteria shown in the chart
