What is the best way to copy a company configuration to another company

We're setting up a company in Business Central. After the first is setup we'll have three others that we want to configure. They will all have the same CoA, etc. I want to copy configuration. What's the best practices for this? Assuming I have some technical capabilities is this something that I could do myself or do I need our service provider to do so?

I think that you can use standard tools like Configuration Packages (Rapidstart). Just create a package with all the tables you need to copy, export data and import then back into the new company.

It might be easier to just copy the company which is easy to do;

Search "Companies"

Process > Copy

Select company with setting you want to copy

Set name as the new company name

Then you will have a new company with the exact settings of the one you have already set up

If you haven't posted any entries yet you can simply copy the company from the Companies list
