File import with sys operation framework

Hello,

my requirement is to import file and create the GJs.

It should be possible to set this feature as a batch job, which will grab the file from dedicated folder and process it.

I will create a action menu item, but I don't know how can I get the dialog with possibility to select the file and also set it as a batch process.

Please share some experiences and links. I could not find anything by googling.

    Take a look at links below:

    If you still want to do via dialog box etc... what you should do is create a parameters somewhere else (e.g. GL parameters and enter folder path where you will drop the files).

    Then create a batch job, which will read values of the above parameter and try to read through the files from that folder. You should write your code in such a way that all files in this folder will be processed, that would remove any limitations for your like file got overwritten, file is getting edited and can't be consumed etc.
