Hi All,
I'm implementing SL 2011 SP 1 in Vietnamese.
Now, I have a problem when I copied and trasnaction imported for a bunch of description.
Is there any compatible font letter and character set that can be use to replace default's Tahoma font become Unicode or TCNV3 or VNI or any fonts ?
I've already tried to replace text box default fonts from Tahoma into VNI-Time or .VNTimes. Some of the characters are works. Some are not, and brings me this error when I paste into a description field (e.g COA description)

Please advise, does SL 2011 Sp1 support Vietnamese character or not ? If it does ,
1. how to run transaction imported and key in the description directly into screens.
2. and what environment that need to be prepare?(SQL with Collation Vietnamese/ with unicode enable or anything similar)
FYI, Double byte enabler only applicable for windows input media editor (WIndows keyboard layout for Vietnamese character), but most of Vietnamese never use this.

Hi Agnes,
It sounds like the mask on the description field would need to be customized to handle Vietnamese. I haven't had any questions about SL in Vietnamese. We don't have any experience with it so can't answer your questions with any certainty. You might try the following web site as I see they offer double-byte enablers. http://www.solomon.com.hk/Home
