Advanced Find Changes in October 2022

Posted on by 25

Anyone else finding the changes Microsoft applied to the advanced find tool very hard to use? How are you easily retrieving saved views and editing your views? It seems like the new interface is quite confusing to users and not easy to work with at all. Please advise.

    Hi CWDdkops,

Yes, the modern advanced find's buttons are decentralized. Now, your saved views(personal views) are with a character icon, you could change the view selector to open it.

Then you can click edit columns/filters to modify your view.

Finally, click the save changes to current view to keep it.

BTW, you could disable the modern advanced find.
