What is the use of Sales order detail entity version number field in crm 365?

Hi,
Which version number field you are refering to. OOB I couldn't see any version number field.
Is it something custom? Could you share a screenshot please?
It's a system read-only property(I can see it in 365, but it might not be there in the earlier versions):

It seems to be updated any time you update an order line. You can't add it to the views etc, but, if you wanted to see the values, you might use this kind of web api request:
