Yesterday I went into Dynamics 2016 and reassigned 3 tasks as I do all the time by changing the Owner of the task, then clicking the save icon in the lower right. The tasks were on the opportunities, which are still intact. However, none of the new owners received the tasks. Once I heard this, I went to Settings > Auditing and pulled an audit log for the day, and it shows those 3 tasks as having been Deleted by my account. However, at no point did my mouse go anywhere near the delete button at the top of the page. I'm completely baffled as to why the system would have deleted those tasks when all I did was reassign them the same way I always do.
When I attempt to click on the deleted records in the audit log, I get the following message:
The requested record was not found or you do not have sufficient permissions to view it. If you contact support, please provide the technical details.
