I recently tried to update an environment for 2022 release wave 1 early access. Update for "Dynamics Sales Embedded Package" failed, even after multiple retries:

I would recommend you to lodge Microsoft support ticket to understand the issue from Microsoft.
If you'd like to know details error then you can navigate to Settings->Solution History
You can sort the result by start time to see the latest solution history.
