Help! Red numbers for negatives showed up in my report

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Hello,

I ran this report 2 weeks ago and it was fine.  There was nothing changed in the report at all.  When I went to run it today, all my negative numbers are RED!!   Is there any way to get rid of this?

We are using FRx 6.7.9111negnumbers.JPG

Deborah, when you export to Excel you are then under the control of the environmental settings of Excel and your local workstation.

It is possible that some time in the past two weeks that somewhere some one made a change in the computer environment setting or in Excel settings that 'requested' the negative numbers be shown as RED

Praveen provides a like to a discussion on how thsi is done and therefore how to undo the problem.

I do not believe that this is either a Microsoft Dynamics GP or FRx 6.7 problem - the data is correct, the problem is strictly in the presentation of the data.

    Hope this helps, keep posting.

Yes, Praveen instructions showed how to conditionally format.

Thanks for the input, It's really weird because it only does this for this one report.  All of my other financials are all in black.   I've had 2 other users run this report with the same results.  Thanks again to you both.

Deborah, is it running that way directly from FRx?

So then I have to back track - if you and other users run 'only' this report and get this result, then there is something in this reports configuration that is causing this.  Sorry, I had assumed that this was happening when you export to Excel.  Should have asked first.

Anyway, best then to look at the various configuration options for the reports and see where it is different than the others.
