How can i block a Customer or Customer group to don't get offer discount..

Dear All,

I have a query about discount restriction for a customer or customer group.

Scenario: I want to offer the discount to all my retail customers on all POS, but few customer which are my credit customers, i don't want to allow a discount for them. Is there any solution or any workaround available for my query.

    Disclaimer: This is not a practical one, but you can try it as a workaround.

    1) Configure the discounts using affiliation.

    2) Attach the affiliation to the Retail default customer.

    3) Make sure that you select the default customer before doing any retail customer transaction so that the discount will fire only if you have selected the default customer. To ease the process, you can write a small customization to attach default customer to retail transaction at the beginning of the transaction.
