Are you a functional or technical NAV Consultant?

Hi all,

I remember in the old good days there were 2 job roles in the NAV industry:

NAVISION consultant

NAVISION developer

A NAVISION consultant was the business guy and the NAVISION developer the programmer. As simple as that.

Nowadays, when I am asked by recruiters or other technology professionals, what my background is and I respond NAV Consultant, I get an extra question: "Are you more functional or technical?"

What is a technical NAV Consultant by the way?

Maybe I am missing something here.

Thanks

    Hello Christos,

There is some people who are good (very good, talented) at development and who have very good knowledge about finance, purchases, sales... How do you call them: consultants or developers? Or they didn't exist in "the old good days" :p
