Hello, I’m trying to reconcile my PM AP to GL. (Yes I know about the GL Reconcile spreadsheet) and I want to make sure I’m doing it correctly.
PM
• Go to PM Trial Balance reports, select Historical Aged Trial Balance report.
• In Payables Trial Balance Report Options:
• Select Summary
• Print/Age as of Current Date
• Select Transactions for Report Using: GL Posting Date
• Ranges: Date from Beginning of Previous Month to End of Previous Month
• Exclude: I have all checked. Not sure what to check here.
GL
• Trial Balance Report Options
• Include: Posting Accounts (not using unit accounts)
• Ranges: Date from Beginning of Previous Month to End of Previous Month
• Accounts: How do I know what accounts to select here that will match the PM side? I have several Payables accounts. Is there a way to select only the accounts that will be used on the PM side?
Run both reports and compare what? On the GL compare Ending Balance to PM Due? Not sure what amounts to compare.

When I match the dates between the PM HATB and the GL TB, on the Payable Trial Balance Report Options screen should it be the Print/Age As of Date or the Range used in the Ranges section that should match the dates on the GL TB?
