Hi Gurus,

Whenever I create a payment journal and try to do a settlement, it tells me that the invoice has already been selected by another user whereas, there's no other open payment journal except mine.

Can anybody please tell me that why it's happening and how can I resovle this issue?

Hi Amjad,

Mostly it was because in AR or AP parameters, you set up 'Credit adjustment' as 'Dedicated transaction', so that original customer transaction was marked against sales order/purchase order of the credit note.

You can find the marking by 'Customer/vendor open transaction editing' -> Inquiries -> Specification.

And then open the sales order/purchase order of the specification, and click 'Open transaction editing', and unmark it.

Then you are able to do the settlement again. Or you can find it from table 'SpecTrans'.
