Stuck Transfer Order

Posted on by 32
We have a transfer order that is /stuck/.  I'm not sure what the user did here, but from what I can tell they shipped and unshipped several times.

After these transactions were shipped and unshipped many times, the item tracking under /receipt/ has these quantities in it for Qty Base.  I can put in Qty to handle but continue to get this error

I am unsure of how to move the correct amount of inventory.  Right now it's all /in-transit/.  I know I can use a configuration package to toggle off the in-transit box and do an item reclass to move the inventory, but that doesn't solve the issue of this transfer order sitting out there.  Just thought I would see if anyone else has run into this issue.

I was able to get in there.  There is only one line in the reservation entry table for that item.  It has 0 qty reserved on transfers

    Hi,

Are you able to run the reservation entry table?  Same url but replace company with table=337.

It may be that extra reservation entries have been created and this is causing the higher qty in the item tracking lines.  Is that something you can check?

    Thanks,
    Shauna

The line is shipped only.  We are unable to modify the qty base for the receipt item tracking.  I agree it should be 18388 and 1916.  The Qty base field is not editable.  I get this error when I close the window.
We have shipped and unshipped before and haven't had this issue

    Hi,

Have you received any quantity against this transfer order or has the stock only been shipped?

I would have thought that the Quantity (Base) on the first line should be set to 18388 and the second should be set to 1916.  I tried this on a transfer order and I was always able to amend the Quantity (Base) field to ship/receive the correct stock.

What error do you get if you try to change the Quantity (Base)?

    Thanks,
    Shauna

regardless of the qty, what happens if user post receipt of the transfer order? If the transfer order is in transit, it mean BC validates the order and shipment was posted.

I am unable to change the Qty base amount (which is incorrect)  It tripled the amount - seems like every time they unshipped and shipped again, it added qty to that amount.

This is what is on the shipment for item tracking lines

Hi, it looks like the issue is that the quantity base in the item tracking is more than the line itself.  What does it show for the quantity handled base in item tracking?  I would look at those values and modify the quantity (base) to match the quantity handled (base) if this transfer order is "done."
