Hello everyone, I'm having performance issue while lets say trying to print a report or generate a free text invoice, it takes ages to generate or print.

what are the performance issue i can do in order to fix this issue and can use the system faster. ( if u can tell me the whole methods it will be great)

Hi, You can collect trace and investigate in Trace parser, specially for slow and expensive queries

If all users are facing this issue then try restarting IIS and SSRS service. Also You can try checking event viewer to find the issue

my main issue is when i try to print a report it takes 40mins to open, and when i try to post any journal, it takes alot of time, what is the solution for my case?

Hello Mounir,

Is the happening to only you as a user on the system ?

Have you tried clearing/deleting your data usage and retrying ?

What is your current version?

Was the system faster before now?

Was there any update on Financial dimensions recently?

actually i think its version 30 or 31, since its for a customer, i dont think there was any update on FD, and yes it was faster before.

I am sorry, we cannot really detect the reason and help you here. You might want to check with the customer to see when a major change was done either FD or the account structure in the organization.
