Make optionset field as mandatory in D365 power apps portal using Jquery

Hi Team,

There is a requirement to make an option set field as mandatory on submission of form in D365 power apps portal. Though there is a (*) symbol, it actually allows the user to submit the form when no value is selected in the option set. Now that, we would like to restrict the user from submitting the form if there is no value is entered on that particular field.

Could anyone please help me on this.

Thank you!
