Hi,

Is there is any way to remove unwanted dashboard using managed solution. I don't want to delete directly using customization in production environment. I want to use through managed solution.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Nausher

    Hi Nausher,

Unfortunately you cant to that. I had the same issue with a 3th party solution in CRM.

Managed entities, attributes, relationships, and option sets cannot be deleted once they are managed.  The only way to delete these components is to delete the entire solution.  A managed component is in some ways similar to a "system" component.  Unfortunately deleting components on solution import is not supported at this time.  This is something that the feature team is aware of and is hoping to make this experience better in the future.

Thanks Hugo for reply this much appreciated. So you means to say there is no way  and we have to delete manually from system.

Yap :/ but since this is a dashboard i recommend you to tick off all the security roles instead of delete, this way will not be visible to any one and deleting could cause issues when you try to import a new version of a managed solution and this component is messing, what will happen then is you need to change the xml before import any other solution.
