U of M 'EACH' does not exist on associated price schedule.

Hello,

I have an integration manager routine that updates Inventory List Price and Current Cost. It has worked flawlessly for years, but experienced an error on a few products:

U of M 'EACH' does not exist on associated price schedule.

After running the integration, the list price on the Item Maintenance screen updated successfully but the old price still appears on the Price List card.

Both in the Item Maintenance and Price List the U of M is "PACK".

Does anyone know what would cause this issue?

Thank you

Is there an U of M equivalency set up between Each and Pack?

Kirk, thanks for the reply. How exactly would I check this?

Okay, I think I found the problem in my integration. See below:

The integration is assuming everything is EACH. If I do not want to update the U of M, how should this be set. The only options I have are Constant, Source Field, and Input (prompt). None of these are ideal.

Somewhere in my memories I remember this being case sensitive. Is it possible that you have Each presented different from EACH?

    Kind regards,

    Hi Leslie,

I don't think this is the problem in this case. I believe the problem is that the products failing during the update in integration do not have an "EACH" U of M. Here is an example where it is "PACK". I would like to ignore updating the U of M during the price update integration if possible.

If you want to skip it, you cannot use a constant. You'll need to put the value into your source. On the lower left-hand corner of the integration mapping window, you can tell it what to do if it encounters a null record. Your other option is to use VB Script to make a connection to the database and determine if the EACH UofM exists. If it does, IM could provide EACH to this field, if it does not, the field could be left blank.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
