Aged Reporting - With Dimensions

(0) ShareShare

Hi

Through a client request, we have the requirement to add dimensions to the Aged Reporting functionality.

We have a few shortcut dimensions that are currently configured and wondered if there was anything out of the box within BC that could help us report on the Dimensions from an Aged Perspective.

I've assumed that if I need to, I could do this in BI but would prefer to keep it in BC.

Thanks in advance

Nick

    Hi

I checked and I did not see Dimensions in Dataset of Aged Reporting. Hence, nothing out of the box. Either you need to add it to dataset then use it or go BI route as you mentioned.

If you can customize Aged Report than as you mentioned it can be run inside the BC

if you do not have developer maybe look into this app:

    appsource.microsoft.com/.../PUBID.hougaard-4699382|AID.designer|PAPPID.4c032704-5c36-4480-b710-29e8565568bc

    Or this app

    appsource.microsoft.com/.../PUBID.fornav|AID.customizable_report_pack|PAPPID.83326d6d-11f8-49fd-981a-6f266a7c8d81

    Hi,

You need to custom that report to provide your dimension accordingly.

    Thanks.

Hi, I agree with Nitin, this requires customization.

You can try to use ReportExtension Object.

Thank you for the responses all.

Suspect we're in development territory or an App now.

    Thanks again.

    Hello Nicholas,

As I have checked there is no such functionality is available in base.

Please ask your Developer to do Customization to meet the Report.

Please Verify my answer if you found relevant so it will help others Community member also.

    Thanks

Correct if you want to keep it in BC.

    Otherwise you can use

    1) BI as you mentioned

    2) Publish ODATA than consume them in Excel to build such a report which is free of any charge (Usually I do this when usage is low)

    3) Use Jet Reports
