when trying to create a trx dimension in Analytical Accounting

There is a required field Linked to Node. when i click the lookup there a screen where i should be able to chose a tree but it is all greyed out and blank. If i click on the link for the maintenance of the Link to Node and click on trx dimension look up my dimension, I try to create the node and it says it already exists. In full disclosure the client tried to setup on their own. i have copied the data into test. i had to clear the AA setup and re activate it. my thought is that there are other tables that needed to be cleared. Is there a list of the AA tables and their descriptions somewhere. And if i create a tree is that where the node comes from.
