Converting Quote to Order

Hello Team,

Suppose you send the quotation for 10 items but the purchase order which we receive from customer is only for 6 items.

Now my question is when we convert the Quote to Order, is there any option where we can create the order only for 6 items for that particular quote no. and later once we receive the remaining purchase order,we can create order for those.

As such now, it seems while converting quotation to order, it takes all the items and we need to delete the lines from quotation for which we did'nt receive the order.

Please suggest..

    You can use Function-->Copy Document to copy the lines from Quote to Blanket Order.

    Give the document Type as Quote and Document No. in Copy Document window and it will copy the lines from Quote to Banket Order..

    Thanks for your quick response and for your guidance..

    Adding further to your point.....Is any option available with Sales Quote page to create the blanket order from there itself considering the same Quotation number so that sales line can be included there itself and we can choose among those sales line as which item needs to be converted to order and by how much quantity ...since in quotation already the estimation is done for each item & quantity respectively.

    As in Blanket order, we can link with customer but the sales line doesnt appear and it makes to re-estimate again for each item as per customer purchase order....correct me if I am wrong.

    I may be missing some function which can do that so please suggest.

    You can create Blanket Order with Qty 10 and set Qty. to Receive to 6 and click Make Order.

    It will create Purchase Order with Qty 6

    Later you can create one more Purchase Order with remaining 4 Qty as well..
