ReportWe are having an intermittent problem in Project Controller with Revenue Recognition.
The preliminary calculates perfectly - as expected. But, when final is run, it posts the new revenue and REVERSES the starting point - so completely flipping between what has been previously posted and is posting currently - resulting in an incorrect total revenue to date.
If preliminary is re-run, it wants to post the now reversed revenue that should have been left alone. But, final will surely flip them again.
It doesn't happen every time or on every project. I realize I have a problem somewhere in the core product.
I have never experienced a problem like this before, and I've worked with this product since it was an SDG add-on.
I found nothing on this issue in the Knowledge Base. I am going to report it to Microsoft. But before I use up one of my support questions, I thought I would ask if anyone else in this forum has seen/experienced an error like this. And, if so, has anyone received any resolution?
