Restrict project related transactions postings only to certain Main Accounts

Hi,
 
Is there a way to restrict only project related transactions to be posted to certain Main Accounts?
 
Advanced Account Structure don't seem to allow for this as it is per dimension where we don't have projects as a dimension.

    As you mentioned that you're not using financial dimensions for Project's entries, are you instead using the Project Management and Accounting module to record project transactions?

    Hi aussiedeedee,
     
    On the main accounts, you can setup posting type validations. Set the value in the field Posting type validation to Specify multiple valid options. Then you can click the button Posting validation. In the new window that opens, you can specify which Posting type or types are allowed. See below screenshots.

    It is per chart of accounts. In case you duplicate the chart of accounts, you can have different settings per legal entity.
