Customer Overdue Reminder Letter

How to send reminder letter for overdue customer from D365 F&O? My vision is the system to extract out the list of overdue invoices by customer and come out with a reminder letter saying that these are the overdue invoices for your further action. And if possible, i can directly send the letter to the customer email set in D365 via Outlook email.

    If you pl explain bit more about your requriement, there are multiple ways to send emails to external users. You can use Logic apps to check Customer balance and send emails to their contact person.

    Two alternatives to the collection letter cited by Andre are the following:
     
    - Through customer account statements (Accounts receivbable --> Paeriodic task --> Customer account statemennt)
     
     
    - Manually from the Manage customer credit and collection workspace using the "Email statement to contact":

    In addition to answers given already, if you are considering sending the collection letters / reminders, it is worth exploring possibility to create customized letters through Electronic Reporting formats. Such format can be used in Form Setup > Print management as an output format for collection letters. In completion to format, you can define ER destination to e-mail & refer to values generated in ER format, in order to pick proper customer e-mail, cover fail-safe logic for customers, that do not have e-mail contact recorded (e.g. send such letters to internal mailbox in order to print & send via post) + create customized subject & body of e-mail.

    For large scale collection teams, beneficial might be process automation, that is available as a part of D365 Credit & Collection module - see Collections process automation - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
